“Some of the biggest names in the music industry, including - Bono, Beyonce, Dave Stewart, Annie Lennox, Paul McCartney, Queen, Anastacia, The Corrs, Paul Oakenfold, Ms Dynamite, Moloko, Bob Geldof, Peter Gabriel, Yusuf Islam, Lou Reed, The Neptunes, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, and many more established South African artists, have all teamed up with Nelson Mandela with the aim of raising AIDS awareness and collecting worldwide donations for the 46664 charity.” ....more.
And on Tuesday night we “bumped into” Brian May of Queen at the Cape Quarter, after having supper at Andiamo.
We won’t be attending the concert, which is being held at the Green Point stadium about 5 kms from home, but we will be watching it on television.

Wow! I got an email from someone in Canada who visited my blog. The main purpose of the email was to say that he enjoys the blog and that he lived in Sea Point in the 50s. In the email he mentioned the road name and the name of the block of apartments he lived in. Correct! The same road and block that I currently live in.
